"This hotel was very old and in poor repair. In my room, the drawer of nite stand smelled musty. The towel rack by the sink was broken (l/2 of it missing); there was lightbulbs burned out in lamp over the bed. The alarm clock was missing. The desk had a strip of veneer that was close to falling off. In the hallway, just below the window was an area where the paint was off...loked like mold, or decay. I was rather discouraged for the amount I paid. There was a restaurant in the hotel, but otherwise the only nearby ones were McDonalds' and Subway. I couldn't find any stores....though I have to say I didn't venture more than a few miles as I'm not familiar with Milwaukee and didn't want to get lost or get into a bad neighborhood."
